I then had to adjust them by making two of the notes flat notes & two more notes sharp notes. The notes I turned into sharp notes I turned their change their letter by putting a number sign like this # in front of the letter. The letters I turned into flat notes I changed their letter by putting a lower case b in front of it. I then play the composition to see if it sounded right & if anything needed adjustments. Then I saved the composition & uploaded it to blogger. This is how I completed this assignment.

I labeled them with letters according to high or low the notes were. If they were really high it was labeled as an A & if it was really low it was label either a E or D. If it was in between it was either G,F, B or C. After I labeled the notes, I played the composition all together to see how it sounded & if there was anything that needed to be adjusted. After I made a few minor changes, I uploaded it to blogger which is how I completed this assignment.

NF3:Take a rest

rest
is an interval of silence in a piece of music

Summary
In this assignment I had to create my own composition again but this time using quarter rest notes & the other notes we learned & used in the 2 assignments. I used 4 measures to put my notes into as usual. I put a couple of quarter notes, half notes & quarter rest notes all around the 4 measures until I thought their was enough. When I finished putting the notes around the measures I played the composition to see if it sounded right. I made a few minor adjustments to the notes in the composition & when I was fully pleased with it, I saved it.

Summary
In this assignment I had to make an advertisement that would help me convince others to listen to Nirvana. First I went to nytimes.com & looked for articles that talked about their opinions on Nirvana & their music, facts about Nirvana & a little background history on the band & what they did to impact music. The facts & opinions that I found off the articles that I liked the most were put into my script. After I put the facts & opinions on my script I put a different Nirvana song out of three to put to play in the background while I say the facts & opinions. Every Nirvana song played related to the sentences. I then exported the recording so they can then be put into one big recording.

Audacity bleep project

Paragraph
This assignment was difficult to complete. I had to listen to the song over & over again to see where the curses were, label where the curses were & then bleep out the curses. It became difficult because sometimes I would label the curses at the wrong place & then the bleep recording wont bleep out the curse, it would just bleep out a different part of the song. To complete this assignment, I downloaded a bleep sound online. I then put it in the same window as the song "Wicked games" by The Weeknd & then I reduced the bleep sound to one second. I copied & pasted a whole bunch of the one second bleep sounds on to where the curses were so it could bleep out the curses. When I did this I then auto ducked the song so when the curse was about to come, the bleep sound would come on & the curse would silence itself so you would'nt be able to hear it. This is how I completed this assignment.

Audacity first narration part 6

Paragraph
In this assignment I had to use the effect fade out to fully complete this. I let my recording about the song pyramids play along with the song. Then when the recording finished I selected the remaining parts of the song the narration recording stop playing at & selected the remaining parts of the song to be fade out. I then I played the recording to see if it was correct to what the project was supposed to be & it was. I then exported the recording & uploaded it to sound cloud. That's how I got my final result.

Audacity first narration: Part 2

Paragraph
To complete this assignment I had to upload my recording for the audacity first narration part 1 & edited it a little bit. I edit my previous recording by taking out all of the silences in my recording. I took out the silences by using the sectional tool by picking the silent part & then using the backspace button to delete the silences. After taking out the silences, I listened to my recording to listen for pauses & then separated them into their own sentences & recordings.

Audacity Assignment 5

Paragraph
In this assignment I had to cut a few things out of my recording & use the time shifting tool. My sounds that I downloaded to be behind my "Get low with DJ Joe" were kind of long so I cut off all the extra sound until I got the sound to be at 10 seconds. My "Get low with DJ Joe" was kind of small so I had to drag it to the middle if the 10 seconds of my other recording which is 5. That's how I finished my assignment.

Audacity Assignment 3

Paragraph
In this assignment had to fade my "Get low with DJ Joe" in & then fade it out. I uploaded my " Get low with DJ Joe" recording onto audacity & then I click on effects on the menu bar. The first effect I used was fade in & then I used the fade out effect at the end of the recording. In that order the recording sounds like it is fading away which sounds pretty cool.
