Audacity bleep project

Paragraph
This assignment was difficult to complete. I had to listen to the song over & over again to see where the curses were, label where the curses were & then bleep out the curses. It became difficult because sometimes I would label the curses at the wrong place & then the bleep recording wont bleep out the curse, it would just bleep out a different part of the song. To complete this assignment, I downloaded a bleep sound online. I then put it in the same window as the song "Wicked games" by The Weeknd & then I reduced the bleep sound to one second. I copied & pasted a whole bunch of the one second bleep sounds on to where the curses were so it could bleep out the curses. When I did this I then auto ducked the song so when the curse was about to come, the bleep sound would come on & the curse would silence itself so you would'nt be able to hear it. This is how I completed this assignment.

Audacity first narration part 6

Paragraph
In this assignment I had to use the effect fade out to fully complete this. I let my recording about the song pyramids play along with the song. Then when the recording finished I selected the remaining parts of the song the narration recording stop playing at & selected the remaining parts of the song to be fade out. I then I played the recording to see if it was correct to what the project was supposed to be & it was. I then exported the recording & uploaded it to sound cloud. That's how I got my final result.

clipping: distortion of sound, usually due to the audio being too loud.

Audacity first narration part 5

Paragraph
In this assignment I used auto-duck to complete this assignment. I clicked on effect on the left top of the audacity window. I selected the recording of me talking about the song pyramids to auto-duck. When I auto-ducked my recording. I listened to it & I noticed when my recording came up, it lowered the volume of the song pyramids which I thought was cool. This is how I completed this assignment.

Audacity first narration part 4

Paragraph
To complete this assignment I used the time shifting tool. I shifted my recording about the song pyramids to the middle of the actual song pyramids. When I finished shifting my recording I then clicked on the edit tab at the top left corner & split the recording into their own sentences. I then spread out the sentences onto the pyramids song. This is how I completed this assignment.

Audacity first narration part 3

             Paragraph
In this assignment I combined the song Pyramids by Frank Ocean & my recording talking about this song. I put both of these recordings in the same audacity window without recording them. I then exported these two recordings together which opened up a small window saying that if I exported this recording it would be put into one recording. This is how I completed this recording
